Was it only last February that I was in Paris? Didn't feel right to stall time and wait till the next two years till these photos ever get the chance to be displayed. It was my second time visiting, and this time around, the stay was more pleasing and gratifying. I wish to visit again real soon.
Day one.
First stop was Champs-Élysées. We were instantly greeted by the glorious Arc de Triomphe.
There is no better view to kick start the trip.
What an interesting candy sculpture.
Ladurée, we finally meet!
"Give us your best flavours please". And so it was.
The journey continues through the many interwoven streetway, filled with even more luxurious stores.
A stop for some kebabs, to ward of the cold and satiate the hunger.
As the sun slowly begins to set, we were greeted by a more iconic view.
Day Two.
A short bus trip took us to the very well known shopping district, Lafayette.
Waiting near the Opera, Palais de Garnier.
At the Jardin des Tuileries.
Marie, our Discover Walks tour guide, in the very pink vest and the very 'bling bling' hat.
A cup of the very famous 'best hot chocolate in Paris' at Angelina Cafe.
It's very posh.
An assortment of beautiful pastries at Angelina.
Walking back through Jardin des Tuileries to visit the Musée de l'Orangerie.
Another view of the Eiffel tower at night from the Pont Neuf Seine River Cruise boat.
Day Three.
A Saturday morning walk around Montmartre area.
A lot was done in two days. The second installment shall ensue. Stay tuned.
