Somewhere

Finally finished watching Sofia Coppola's 'Somewhere'. The movie is visually stunning which compensates the lack of dialogue the story has. But as always, though Coppola's films may not be the best I've seen, they are nonetheless movies that I keep wanting to re-visit over and over again.

I always pay close attention to the personally hand-picked music in her films, and I just love how 'Somewhere' feels like it's built around this one tune:

What a perfect summation in a single song of what the year has been like for me. Despite all that's happened, I'm pretty sure everything is going to turn out alright in the end.
