Just listened to a couple of tracks from Bombay Bicycle Club's upcoming debut record called, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose, slated for a release this July 6th.
From the five songs I've heard, the record's sounding really good-- perhaps a little too fucking good? The band's certainly matured since their last release, with plenty of genre hopping going on, as they recall to mind the music of Doves, other times the Strokes, and sometimes even Grizzly Bear. Weird eh?
Won't be posting any of the songs though, it's still early to say for sure whether that's allowed. But if you're still determined to know how the songs sound like, Google is pretty much the way to go.
