Television Room is an indie-pop band based in Dublin, Ireland that’s fast garnering attention by slowly slipping under everyone’s radar. Yet to be signed, the band currently has only two singles under their belt, plus a debut album which they’ve just finished recording and is currently due for a near future release. This fun, catchy, luminous, pop of a song, is one of their finest in their constantly increasing selection of pop gems. ‘Coffee Houses’ contains an intro that’s accented by casio tones and guitars that sparkles like droplets of crystalline, immediately reminding me of the Antidotes record by UK band Foals. Underneath warm, spare vocals, are sparse, tasteful riffs that conjure up glistening melodies with a bright sense of propulsion.
