And yes, to make things worse, I’ve yet to listen to the original version, but just by listening to both Coldplay’s and Mark Ronson’s interpretation of the song, I could roughly conclude that the original would be so devastatingly good, I wouldn’t know what hit me.
Containing music that persuades and lyrics that go; Nothing’s changed/I still love you/Only slightly less than I use to - sheer genius.
Coldplay did a cover of the song during one of their concerts and all I can say is, despite the lack of rehearsing and whatever and what-not, they did a really superb job. They’ve certainly got me begging for more.

Another artist who’s come up with his own version of the song, ‘Stop Me’ is Mark Ronson, best known for his work in Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black. The song is available in his album, Version filled with cover versions of artists such as the likes of Radiohead, Coldplay the Zutons and surprise…surprise…Britney Spears.
