Well, it sure did for me.
With his latest album just released in March this year, some claim that it’s the best record by Bird to date. Accompanying his album are tunes like ‘Heretics’ and ‘Armchairs’ which really sees his skills in the usage of a range of instruments such as the violin and glockenspiels. The music he writes are complex and sophisticated yet never lacks to exude the true emotion of the lyrics. When I say complex, I mean it in a way when you compare it to music by other musicians like Damien Rice.
